ABOUT GLEPHA

The Global Law Enforcement and Public Health Association (GLEPHA) is a not for profit, membership based association whose Mission is to promote research, understanding and practice at the intersection of law enforcement and public health. GLEPHA is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership and is governed according to its own constitution.

THE AIMS

  • To build a network of research institutions and individuals interested and engaged in research into one or more aspects of the broad relationship between law enforcement and public health
  • To devise, support and engage in research and educational activities and collaborations in the LEPH field
  • To bring together academics and professionals, as individuals, groups and institutions, across sectoral divides: to connect researchers with police, and police with public health practitioners
  • To promote and support development of new researchers in the LEPH field.
